Position: Director of Energy Operations

Description

The Director of Energy Operations reports directly to the Vice President.  Main responsibilities include:

  • Managing field staff and sub-contractors for implementation of high-quality energy improvements; including scheduling, materials, budgeting, etc.
  • Setting clear expectations and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Test-out and quality assurance for energy jobs
  • Managing & completing paperwork related to the energy improvement work
  • Estimating for energy related jobs
  • Meeting periodically with the executive team for strategic planning

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to explain complicated building science principles clearly to clients
  • Highly organized  - able to manage forms, paperwork, and multiple projects at any given time
  • 3-5 years experience in Project Management & construction
  • Experience in energy efficiency-related work
  • BPI certification strongly recommended
  • Must have a clean background
